Live 8 is for Hippies

This may be the cynic in me speaking, but I have this lurking feeling that he might be right. I just don't think that the decision makers of the G8 have a heart that pumps much more than greed and self-righteous to really give a flying-fuck about poor people, especially poor people who aren't from their country. I'm willing to be surprised, but that's what is most troubling -- it would be a surprise.
